A week of events was planned by Penbank School in 2012, one being a Kids Teaching Kids day. A range of presentations, activities and workshops were organized and our ‘i sea, i care’ Ambassadors, Mia, Laura, Genevieve and Grace did a fantastic job in representing Victoria’s marine treasures.
After a news style presentation, the “ i sea, i care Ambassador Update “, which described the role of an Ambassador and what each of the girls enjoyed about it, they prepared a show and tell table where they displayed many of the treasures that they found while beachcombing at Balnarring. Shells, seaweed with holdfasts, urchins and sponges were just some of the things on display. The girls had also prepared booklets packed full of information about our local marine environment.
