NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK: For the first in our National Science Week ISEAICHAT sessions with amazing scientists we were so excited to have a presentation from Joni from The Stingray Diaries!
We had such a brilliant ISICHAT session with Joni who communicated her recent Ph.D. ray research beautifully in such a fun and engaging way for our young Ambassadors! Joni talked about ray biology and ecology, some of the issues threatening rays, and her amazing journey that led to her study of these amazing creatures!
The students had so many amazing questions after Joni’s presentation and many commented on how much they learned and how much fun science can be!
