The Dolphin Research Institute recently celebrated our 25th year of working for, and with, our living marine treasures – they are too precious to lose!
Thank you to all of our amazing donors, supporters and members who joined with us in March to mark this milestone. It was great to see so many founding members, long-term supporters and past and current staff members and friends.
The team at All Smiles, Docklands could not have done more to make this a wonderful occasion for DRI. Great food, great location – maybe next year we can organise some dolphins to cruise past in the setting sun? And the celebratory cake from Michel’s Patisserie in Karingal was amazing, as befitted the evening.
But, seriously, this 25th birthday is a reminder to us all of the need for on-going research and data collection of what’s happening in our bays and waterways. Without DRI, this continuity of knowledge would be lost.
Again, thank you for a wonderful celebration of the Dolphin Research Institute’s past – let’s now look forward to the next 25 years! Donate here to our 25th Appeal.
