AMBASSADORS HAD A FABULOUS DAY ROCKPOOLING AT BALNARRING!!
We had such a wonderful day today treating our 2021 Ambassadors (who missed out on this workshop during the lockdowns last year) to a rockpool ramble at the beautiful Balnarring rock platform.
A warm and windy day greeted us and a super low tide, allowed us to find many creatures such as cone shells, crabs, chitons and fan worms! The Ambassadors and their parents/carers were happy to take us up on this well-deserved opportunity, and they were so excited to learn about all the amazing creatures that call this beautiful location their home!
We love the opportunity to take families on our rockpool rambles as it gives them a chance to share the experience and gain a deeper understanding of our precious marine environments, and of course the simple actions we can all take to help the planet!!
