POLLUTION AND HUMAN IMPACTS PROGRAM
Race to identify a range of marine debris items!
This hands on session starts with students getting into groups and challenging each other to identify each litter item in our sand tub. It connects common household items with where they end up on our waterways and beaches.
This is followed by a discussion of pollution on in our waters, how it gets there and determining better alternatives with the number one solution TO REDUCE our consumption of single use items.
This program can be an incursion or excursion and suitable for ages 12+.
