SNORKELLING WORKSHOP FUN FOR ALL AT PORTSEA!
Marine Ambassadors had a fantastic workshop at Portsea beach! Most of our Ambassadors had never snorkelled before, and they had a ball during their snorkel training session with our partners at Moonraker Dolphin Swims!
After an equipment and safety briefing, Ambassadors had a training session and guided snorkel where they spotted Weedy seadragons, sea stars, Globe fish and more! We had quite a bit of swell with the flooding tide and we were so proud of our Ambassadors embracing the challenge and there was lots of fun had by all!
It is so inspiring to witness these environmental leaders making connections to their local marine environment to develop a deeper understanding of the threats faced by our precious coastal marine environments, and the actions they can take toward a positive environmental future! It was a fantastic day and we want to thank our wonderful partners at the City of Greater Dandenong, the ISIC teachers, parents and carers for without you these sessions would not be possible and we are so grateful to all of you!
