Another very busy but fantastic couple of weeks conducting Peer Teaching workshops, this time with our Melbourne, Kingston, and Mornington Peninsula Marine Ambassadors! We decided to have smaller ISIC groups this term to be more Covid appropriate, and as such, the Education team is visiting double the amount of host schools!
Melbourne Ambassadors practicing the activities, and gathering for a victory photo!
We are thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to visit more schools and we have also been so impressed with our Ambassadors’ actions in their schools to raise awareness regarding single-use plastics and making better environmental choices!
Kingston Ambassadors teaching the younger students about ocean plastics and posing with conservation attitude in their new ISIC T-Shirts!
It is so inspiring to watch the students support each other during the teaching workshops, particularly after a really rough 2020!
Mornington Peninsula Ambassadors supporting each other through the activities
They are so passionate about environmental protection and they understand that marine conservation does not stop for a pandemic!
As always we are so grateful to our wonderful host schools, council partners, coordinators teacher, parents/carers for making these workshops possible!
