Wednesday 21 November – 9:30am
DON”T FORGET WE ARE PLASTIC FREE!!!
The last workshop of the year will be at Pencil Park, Hidden Boulevard in Keysborough.
Ambassadors will be learning about the Indigenous history of the area, local frog species and how to identify them, a walk around the park looking for native wildlife and a chance to compare the invertebrates from the last session.
Clothes should be appropriate for the weather conditions on the day (could be anything!!) Long sleeves and long pants are strongly advised as the mozzies could be active. Closed-toed shoes are essential as there may be snakes and very likely bull ants.
I will look at the forecast a day or two before and email you/post on the website if there are any concerns.
Start time will be 9.30am and finish is approx 2pm.
Bring the usual notebooks, cameras, snacks/drinks. etc. There will be a BBQ lunch provided at the end. We can cater for vegetarians but if anyone has other dietary requirements then they will need to bring their own lunch/bread for the sausages etc.
