The Ambassadors from the Greater Dandenong region showed they were pretty ‘Great’ too recently. On a bitterly cold day, the Ambassadors learnt all about litter and the effects it can have, and how far it can travel. This workshop was about Catchments and their importance in the environment.
The afternoon session was at Tirhatuan Park where the Ambassadors learnt about freshwater invertebrates, and water quality testing. Amazing just what sort, and how many, creatures could be found.
Well done Ambassadors – the weather didn’t dampen your enthusiasm one bit!
