The ‘i sea, i care‘ Ambassadors in the Casey region recently had their first workshop for 2018 at Rangebank Primary School. Thanks to the wonderful Ambassadors from Cranbourne West Primary School for making this poster about what they did on the day. Well done, Talei, Chelsea, Joey and Jamal.

Ambassadors from nine schools learnt first-hand about Peer Teaching. The workshop introduced them to the wonders of Victoria’s marine treasures, and some of the issues facing them. Role-plays developed the Ambassadors’ skills and confidence to talk to audiences about these things. Later, the Ambassadors put the theory into practice by teaching what they had been taught to younger students from the host school.

A great day for the Ambassadors from Cranbourne, Cranbourne South, Cranbourne West, Devon Meadows, Hampton Park, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst, Pearcedale and, a big thank you to the host school, Rangebank Primary.
