Stormwater pollution traps capture the rubbish from our streets to stop it reaching the coast.

‘i sea, i care’ Ambassadors from 18 City of Casey schools watched (and smelled) 4 tonnes of pollution being cleaned from a stormwater litter trap near Endeavour Hills shopping centre.

And this trap had been emptied only 3 weeks earlier!

This stormwater system collects litter from surrounding suburbs and eventually empties into Port Phillip through Patterson River.

The Ambassadors will share their experiences with their school communities. This will help to reduce the litter at the source, where we all live.
