We will be working down in the village of Warneet again. The two main locations for the day’s activities are likely to be around Warneet Boat Ramp (opposite Balaka St) and Warneet Reserve (Fire access track on right after Dilkhoosa Ave) . This is still to be confirmed as we are finalising the group sizes and activity rotations. This will probably involve driving between locations halfway through the session. The BBQ will be at the boat ramp.

ISIC Ambassadors Casey Coastal Workshop 2015Ambassadors will be learning about Aboriginal and prehistoric history of the area, plus weeding and plant identification. with hopefully either a bird or frog activity. The workshop will finish with a BBQ.

Clothes should be appropriate for the weather conditions on the day (could be anything!!) but for the weeding, they will need long pants, long sleeves and sturdy shoes as the mozzies are active down there

Start time will be 9.30am and finish is approx 2pm.

A timetable will be sent out nearer the day when the schedule is confirmed.

Bring the usual notebooks, cameras etc. And snacks/drinks. We can cater for vegetarians but if anyone has other dietary requirements then they will need to bring their own lunch.
