DON’T FORGET WE ARE PLASTIC FREE!!!
The boat trip on Western Port to the fur seal colony at Seal Rocks is a great way to start the Ambassadors year and hopefully a motivator for them to become strong champions for our marine environment.
The boat picks us up and returns us to Stony Point Pier in STONY POINT. MELWAYS 195 F5. There is parking on a car park opposite the caravan park and general store. This is sometimes staffed and charges a fee. Alternatively you can park along the layby at 90 degrees to the road.
Please arrive 30 mins before departure and meet on the pier. There are toilets across the car park as well as on the boat.
The boat leaves Stony Point at 10.30am and will return at 1pm. Please note, as there is only one trip this year, there will be a limit of one adult for each group of 4 students.
Weather conditions can be anything at this time of year so please come prepared for all possibilities. It can be cold on the boat when we are moving even on a warm day and there may be spray too. Bring food, drink and cameras. There are light refreshment provided too.
We will be in close contact with the boat in the days before and let you know of any concerns or updates via email
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS TRIP MAY BE CANCELLED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER. Efforts will be made to reschedule if possible. No invoices will be sent until the trip has taken place unless requested.
