Some of the Ambassador schools in the Casey region had such an inspiring time in Western Port on the Kasey Lee, that they decided to see what Port Phillip was like from the Moonraker. These experiences highlight to the young Ambassadors why we need to care for our bays, now and for the future.
This was the last trip for Ambassadors on the Moonraker for this season, and luckily the weather turned on a splendid autumn day – even warm and calm enough for swimming!
Some of the very young seals that the Ambassadors had seen on their trip to Seal Rocks on the Kasey Lee could even have been amongst the juvenile seals playing around Chinamans Hat!
Thanks again to Torie and the Moonraker crew for giving the Ambassadors from Cranbourne Park, Cranbourne South, Harkaway and Rangebank primary schools a wonderful time on the bay.
