DON”T FORGET WE ARE PLASTIC FREE!!!
We will be working down at Ricketts Point MELWAYS 86 C9
It”s at the southern end of the car parks, the life saving club. Parking does cost about $16.50 or you can find free parking back up on the main roads if you prefer. If you can come by public transport or cycle, even better!
Ambassadors will be learning about Indigenous history of the area, local frog species and how to identify them, what lives in the sea grass and exploration of the rock pools.
Clothes should be appropriate for the weather conditions on the day (could be anything!!) Closed toed shoes are essential for the rock pools.
I will look at the forecast a day or two before and email you/post on the website if there are any concerns.
Start time will be 9.30am and finish is approx 2.30pm
Bring the usual notebooks, cameras, snacks/drinks. etc. There will be a BBQ lunch provided at the end. We can cater for vegetarians but if anyone has other dietary requirements then they will need to bring their own lunch/bread for the sausages etc.
