Ambassadors from four regions around Port Phillip – Bayside, Geelong, Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula – learnt about the bay’s treasures in a very special way in Term One.

Aboard the Moonraker (thanks again, Torie and your wonderful crew), the young marine Ambassadors sailed and swam in Port Phillip. Getting close to the seals on Chinamans Hat is always a highlight!ISIC 2019 Ambassadors Moonraker

Some of the Ambassadors had never snorkelled before; from their smiles we guess they will never forget it.

By combining schools from different regions, we know that broader friendships were formed, and across all sorts of boundaries.

The ‘i sea, i care‘ Ambassadors learn more than just about the issues facing our marine treasures and their environment.  They learn about, and develop, self confidence and self esteem. Well done to all the Ambassadors, especially those who went overboard for the first time!
