After more than a decade of intensive study by the Dolphin Research Institute, we are starting to unravel some of the dolphins' mysteries. But we still know little about their needs and certainly, we still do not know enough to adequately protect them!
The Institute needs support from individuals, communities, like-minded organisations and government, as well as strong partnerships with the business sector, to continue our research and education work. We are working to develop secure, win-win relationships that are for the long term. Ideas for new partnerships are always welcome.
The Dolphin Research Institute needs your support to continue our work and to fill the gaps in our understanding and to act to protect our fragile marine environment. As well as individual Adopt-A-Dolphin support, here are some other ways you or your organisation can sponsor our work:-
Become a Sponsor
Many businesses choose to give back to the community that supports their business enterprise. DRI has a wide range of sponsorships from the business community, (see our list of current sponsors), but there is always more work to be done than there are resources available.

Become a Special Partner
Special Partners of the Dolphin Research Institute are like Adopt-A-Dolphin supporters, but want to do more through making a longer-term and regular commitment. Monthly contributions through credit cards or direct debit from a bank account makes the support of Special Partners achieve that "extra amount," saving on our costs of renewing annual support and strengthening our ability to plan ahead. Most people also find that this a more convenient way to be involved.
Special Partners do receive additional feedback and invitations to become involved in VIP activities.

Become an “i sea, i care”® Champion
You can make a real difference no matter how large or small your business or community group may be.
The “i sea, i care”® Community Champions Program is a new way for the community and businesses to support the Dolphin Research Institute’s crucial marine research, innovative education and balanced conservation services.
