Education News - 2011
|
2011 was a great time for education at the Dolphin Research Institute, and 2012 is shaping up to be even better!
In January, over 1200 people joined in our free i sea, i care Challenge around Port Phillip and Western Port. Thousands of primary students participated in DRI programs this year, and we are now offering sea kayaking, marine science and catchment-based programs for secondary students.
We have a new education brochure for Primary Schools available. DRI Education Program Primary (pdf 953kb) - profiles our Primary Education Programs.
To book or discuss other options for primary, or for secondary, tertiary or adult programs, call us on 1300 130 949 or email our education team at: education@dolphinresearch.org.au
Call to action
Check out our catchments episode of ISIC TV. It's based around our recent workshop for Schools Ambassadors in the Melbourne region and takes a close look at our catchments and their impact on the marine environment. Teachers and students might even like to show it to their class.
