DRI is listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations, with the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage. All donations to DRI over $2 are tax deductible (in Australia).
Your donation to DRI is highly effective - the vast majority of our expenditure is directed towards our core research and education activities. Our administration and overhead costs are minimised by our efficient use of resources and volunteers.

Become an 'i sea, i care' Champion
'i sea, i care' Champions are like 'i sea, i care' Adopt-A-Dolphin supporters, but want to do more through making a longer-term and regular commitment. Monthly contributions through credit cards or direct debit from a bank account achieves that "extra amount", saving on our costs of renewing annual support and strengthening our ability to plan ahead. Many supporters find that regular automated donations (as little as 35 cents per day) are a more effective way to help.
We are fortunate to have a number of generous individuals and trusts who make substantial gifts to support our programs. Donations, which are sometimes linked to specific programs, can be a very rewarding process for all involved.
